How do I contact technical support?

SigmaTEK’s Technical Support Team is available Monday through Friday from 8:00 AM to 7:00 PM EST, excluding nationally recognized holidays. Support is available to trained users with a current maintenance subscription only. Please have your SIM and SigmaNEST version numbers ready before calling support.

Should I install SigmaNEST as a 32-bit or 64-bit program?

If you have a 32-bit operating system, you can only install SigmaNEST as a 32-bit program.

If you have a 64-bit operating system, you can only install SigmaNEST as either a 32-bit program or 64-bit program (But we recommend 64-bit).

Warning: Some post processors must be updated for use with the 64-bit installation. Also 32-bit plug-ins are not compatible with 64-bit and must be recompiled. If you are unsure if your post processors and plug-ins are 64-bit compatible, please contact SigmaTEK’s Technical Support Team before installation.

Where can I find my SIM and version numbers?

You can find both the SIM and version numbers in SigmaNEST by clicking Tools Help > About

What should I do if SigmaNEST can’t find the SIM?

Make sure that your SIM key is plugged into the computer. Then contact support for additional troubleshooting steps.

How do I renew license that is about to expire?

Contact SigmaNEST Support to obtain new license codes.

How do I report a problem with SigmaNEST?

  1. Restart SigmaNEST and recreate the conditions that caused the problem.
  2. If the issue occurs again, use the Pack and Send feature to package your current workspace, database, settings and other relevant data.
  3. Contact Technical Support. Explain how they can reproduce the problem, and submit your configuration package to the team.
  4. The SigmaNEST Support Team will work with you to troubleshoot and resolve the issue, or submit a bug to our development team.
