TrueShape, Advanced TrueShape, and HD TrueShape

These three are good all-around nesting engines. The simplest of the three, TrueShape, is based purely on part contour and finding the best nest for all parts. Advanced TrueShape is cluster-based, meaning that it finds groups of parts that nest well together and repeats those groups across the nest. HD TrueShape combines the best features of both TrueShape algorithms (sometimes by part contour, sometimes by cluster) and sorts through different settings to achieve the optimal nest.

We have customers that send us their nesting sheets to copy from the various software programs they use and when we run the same parts through SigmaNEST, we are able to beat their nesting pretty much every time. It is great software and easy to use.
