SigmaTEK’s Cornel Warren and Jandre Terreblanche are getting their hands dirty in the all-new mini series, American Made. The part one of the mini series premiered Thursday May 11th when the duo met with CEO, Don Colbertson at Omni Technologies.

Omni Technologies, located in Greendale, Indiana is a manufacturing company specializing in high quality, engineered plastics for the consumer packaged goods industry. Omni uses SigmaTEK software to create the molds for the plastics. The machines follows the tool path of the CNC program making sure that the coordinates and quality of cuts are precise. Expert mold maker, Tony Randall of Omni, shows Cornel and Jandre how it’s done in Part One through three of the Omni technology episode. The team quickly discovers that making the products of American is a lot harder than it appear.

The concept behind American Made grew from a deep respect we have for the manufacturing process,” says Cornel Warren, Director of Marketing & Inside Sales at SigmaTEK. “We wanted to give the community a closer look at how things really go in our nation’s job shops and industrial facilities.” SigmaTEK has opened the door for any fabrication shop to be featured.

Follow the pair on the SigmaNEST Youtube chanel as they continue to fulfill a work order at Omni Technologies and as they visit other shop floors around the country.
