At SigmaTEK this Thanksgiving week, we’re remembering all the things we have for which to be thankful. What better way to celebrate than to have a company party down in the hills of Kentucky?
SigmaTEK Fall Party at Rheebok Farm
On November 15, the Cincinnati SigmaTEK employees and our families gathered at Rheebok Farm in Northern Kentucky for a fall party. The weather was unseasonably warm for mid-November. Autumn in Kentucky is beautiful — rolling hills, golden fields, turning leaves, and calico forests.
Everyone enjoyed games, food, and activities for all ages.
On the farm and near the barns, children and adults could pet the animals and feed the cows. Adults and children took long hayrides on a wagon pulled by a tractor through the fields. Children also enjoyed making crafts at the craft table and other activities specially designed for them.
Adults could take part in skeet shooting and All-Terrain Vehicle rides, typical activities for a Kentucky farm. And all ages enjoyed a special photo scavenger hunt, team Tug-O-War, and a bonfire after sunset.
For food, we enjoyed a buffet-style spread: a pig roast, chicken, corn, carrots, macaroni and cheese, and apple, cherry, and pumpkin pies. Add in lots of beer and hot chocolate and it was the perfect food and drinks spread for the whole crowd.
Thank you to Helen Durham for organizing the food, Tracy Berry for organizing the games and activities, and to our CEO Ben TerreBlanche and his wife Anita for hosting the SigmaTEK Fall Party at their farm. We all had a great time at Rheebok Farm down in Kentucky!
