SigmaNEST for Furnishings/Cabinetry
SigmaNEST pairs with all major router machines and helps to extend tool life and reduce material waste while considering machine needs such as the vacuum hold down. For working with high-end wood products, SigmaNEST provides a part grouping feature to maintain the material grain direction consistent across a sub-set of parts.
Material Utilization
SigmaNEST efficiently creates nests by work order or kits (crop between work orders) and has partial depth feature recognition from CAD. Also, with ramped 3D tabs, parts are kept attached to the sheet but easily separated.
SigmaNEST utilizes a tool path algorithm that works specifically with wood routers with vacuum tables (“spiral inward” Auto NC cutting order)
Part Quality
Router – “Small entity” management to prevent table fires, Overcut Z-depth technology to prevent splintering
- Customize tool order to optimize part quality
- Utilize multi-pass cutting features for step down cuts
Knife – “Hop over cutback” technology for sharper corners, multiple pass function for smoother cutting of material
