Partnership with Invera

SigmaTEK Systems is proud to announce its partnership with Invera, the makers of STRATIX MRP software. Through this partnership, STRATIX/SigmaNEST-X will provide an integrated product that offers forward-backward integration of all data between nesting processes and MRP business management.

Benefits

The introduction of this new product allows the user to realize increased sales level inventory interaction, reduction in material costs, improved productivity of planning staff, increased order line profit and improved customer service capacity. It provides businesses with the ability to lower their overhead without lowering production levels and work more efficiently.

Integration

By managing the bi-directional product code mapping as well as the real-time transfer of inventory transaction between STRATIX and SigmaNEST, SSX maintains live-update inventory synchronization that includes remnants. This constant “communication” offers users the security that customer orders will be processed correctly and promptly. When orders are changed, the updated information is automatically transmitted to SigmaNEST through STRATIX/SigmaNEST-X to ensure that the orders are processed accurately.

Inventory Control

Remnants and other plate details and their diagrams are stored within STRATIX making them available to all members of an organization. Inventory transactions for product items that meet “inventory extraction rules” are exported to SigmaNEST as required and the information is updated in STRATIX in real-time. Inventory for an entire warehouse can be updated on-demand as needed.

Several STRATIX inventory transaction events generate a SigmaNEST inventory update automatically:

Adding a new “Product Item” in the indicated STRATIX creates a new "Sheet” in SigmaNEST, while making a quantity change to the fields listed will update the quantity of relevant “Sheets” in SigmaNEST. If inventory characteristics in STRATIX are adjusted, SigmaNEST “Sheet” characteristics will be updated as well.

Order Entry

SigmaNEST and STRATIX communicate similarly in business cases as well as Inventory Control cases. Through this integration STRATIX/SigmaNEST-X offers automatic order item creation in STRATIX that creates a corresponding order item in SigmaNEST. From creating an Order Item to making updates and alterations to the same item later, SigmaNEST work orders are automatically created and updated accordingly.

Production

Production can be scheduled using Order Item and workorder information compiled in SigmaNEST. By assessing future task needs, SigmaNEST will create strategic production plans that optimize the schedule followed by the machines. After jobs are completed, SigmaNEST will send updates back to STRATIX via STRATIX/SigmaNEST-X, ensuring that all data remains up to date, all inventory is adjusted for used material, and any remnants created are logged.

Integration Technology

To provide customers with a secure, real-time interface between STRATIX and SigmaNEST, STRATIX/SigmaNEST-X was developed to use a protocol of XML messaging encryption with real-time authentication that ensures data transactions are successfully and safely completed.
