Many calls into SigmaNEST Support are related to inputting additional material types to the Tech Table. If “material” is not added correctly in the Tech Table, users will receive notification errors.

When adding material to the .TEC table:

Open the “.TEC” file for your machine located in the SNDATA\POST folder. Add a material type in the MATERIAL line just the way you want it always to appear (with a separating comma). Next, inside of SigmaNEST open the Materials under “Utility” and “Technology Setup.” Click “Add Material” at the bottom and make sure you name it exactly as it was done in the .TEC file.
