The 2007 User Summit • Workshop • Expo has successfully concluded with our biggest turnout to date with close to 120 individuals in attendance. SigmaTEK continues the tradition by making this the third summit to date. Hosted in New Orleans, February 21-23, 2007, this hands-on-training, workshop, and exposition provided an excellent networking opportunity for customers, dealers, and SigmaTEK employees.

Ben TerreBlanche, President and CEO began the event with a heart-felt speech on bringing business back to New Orleans after hurricane Katrina and recognized those companies who contributed to those efforts. Following the welcome address was Pierre Slabber, Vice President of R & D to introduce Version 8.0 and the new features to be used to “supercharge your productivity.” While the most productive sessions included SolidCAD Importing, Nesting, Advanced NC, Material Handling & Workorders, Shopfloor Automation, and Costing & Quoting, nothing can compare to the excitement of Thursday morning’s discussions on the upcoming release of Version 8.

The group activity for the event included a trip to the National World War II Museum for a banquet and museum viewing. A tremendous thank you to all who participated in this event.
