SigmaNEST Specialty Products

These are separate products that supplement SigmaNEST's functionality. They differ from the add-on modules in that these do NOT require that SigmaNEST be present in order to operate. The add-on modules, by contrast, always require that the core SigmaNEST product is present.

Develop

Develop is a blowpipe development program for unfolding welded fittings, transitions and pipe intersections.

Rotary

Rotary makes cutting cylindrical and rectangular tube cutting as simple as cutting flat profiles from a sheet. It includes:

• DXF wrapping
• Surface intersection
• Pipe cutting with thickness compensation
• Rectangular tube cutting with thickness compensation
• User-definable cutting technology database with automatic lookup

Load / Unload

Load / Unload combines multiple CNC programs into one - with user-definable "glue" codes to link them. It includes:

• Remote scheduling
• Automatic NC code generation

 

ScanLine

ScanLine is a powerful raster to vector package for converting scanned diagrams to SigmaNEST geometry with:

• Entity recognition
• Conversion of everything or a selection to vectors
• Center line (sketch) conversion
• Silhouette (outline) conversion
• Raster / vector overlay
• User-definable parameters

Cut-to-Length

Cut-to-Length is a general purpose, cut to length nesting and orders and raw material management system for steel stockholders, distributors and warehouses. It is a linear nesting bar stock and sections management system with:

• Linear nesting optimization
• Automatic bill of material processing
• Cut schedule
• Raw material tracking
• Drop management

ShopCOMM II

ShopCOMM II is a Direct Numerical Control (DNC) package for transferring CNC programs from a computer to a cutting machine controller with:

• Ability to link up to 16 machines via RS232
• Support for enhanced communications protocol
• Unattended download from host computer to CNC controller
• Job schedule and cutting time estimation for each machine
• Job queuing
