Auto bridge by lead-in
Bridges can now be created at the leadin positions between parts.
NC simulate by contour
After applying a NC path, select View and NC Simulate. By selecting contour on the NC Simulate tool bar and the run arrow, the simulation will follow the part contours.
Rename programs in the Post All dialog box
Program names can now be changed at the dialog box.
Reset the program start number for Post All
The starting program number can be changed at the Post All dialog. Select Reset Program Numbers, and the Reset Programs numbers dialog appears.
Sheet name variable in a NC Program
A variable for the sheet name is now available in the machine post file.
Workspace name variable in a NC Program
A variable name for the workspace is also available in the post file.
Output a text string using subroutines
Using subroutines from the post file you can output text strings to obtain feedback progress from the process.
Post to multiple machines at the same time
Machine types can be grouped and a specific post file can be applied to all machines in the group type.
Freeze the height on bridge cut entities
Now the tool head can freeze its position across bridges between entities.
With routers the auxiliary tool can handle partial z depths
Auxilary tools were not recognized in the past. Now in version 8 the auxilary tools are recognized for partial Z depths. The smaller tool diameter is recognized for routing partial depths.
With programs that use stacking, the feed rate is calculated using the total stack as the thickness
When stacking sheets, the total stack thickness is used to adjust feedrates for quality.
Machine-dependent defaults for AutoNC
Under AutoNC parameters selecting the machine will load that particular machine's default settings.
Display the NC program name in the status bar
The program name is displayed at the bottom of the workspace in the status bar. When you post the nesting, the status is updated after selecting done in the post dialog.
Confirmation prompt before clearing the NC on a nest
Before the NC path is cleared a dialog appears to confirm the action.
Ability to control the direction of the crop cut
Under the crop sheet dialog for the crop remnant the options for the direction of the crop cut are now from the machine origin, opposite origin, or closest to the last NC.
Add lead-in and pre-pierce puddle to the remnant crop
The leadin for a part can be considered along with a pre-pierce puddle to allow for a higher quality part cut. Offsets can be specified for the remnant crop under create remnant.
Ability to select zone line type
Under reposition under the display tab linetypes can be selected for the active zones. Allowing to focus in on the active NC zone.
When repositioning:
NC Simulate in repositioning displays the current active reposition and reposition color
During NC simulation the reposition color is displayed indicating the current position activity.
Reposition rapid around clamp and rapid above safety tool change Y per process
