  • Changed surface and flat pattern orientation as follows:
    • Added a color to the shaded display to distinguish between inside and outside surfaces.
    • Added colors to the display of a flat pattern to more easily relate the flat panel to the 3D model.
    • Added routines to orient all the triangular facets that approximate a surface consistently. This allows the generation of flat patterns with either the inside or the outside facing up and eliminates the need to check the flat pattern for overlaps.
    • Added an item to the setup menu to allow the specification of which side of the flat pattern should face upward.
    • Added an item to the edit menu to allow individual pieces of a flat pattern to be mirrored.
  • Added a command to the standard shapes language to destroy objects.
  • Speeded up intersection routines by a factor of 3.
  • Corrected an error in the surface intersections routine.
  • Created a new standard shape for thick round pipes with taps.
  • Improved the display of windows resulting from the New Window function.

  • Added a button to the tool bar to export flat pattern geometry to SigmaNEST and create parts within SigmaNEST. If it is not already running, SigmaNEST is started automatically.
