SigmaTEK provides a complete suite of CAD/CAM, nesting and automation software solutions for all organizations, from the smallest to the largest, in all industries.

This is achieved by a combination of the following features:

• SigmaNEST - the foundation and core nesting engine.
• Powerful modularity permits SigmaNEST to evolve with the needs of even the most sophisticated or specialized organizations.
• Supplementary applications add functionality, such as cutting to length, rotary cutting, unfolding ducts, etc.

SigmaNEST

SigmaNEST is the signature CAD/CAM, nesting and automation product.

Those with very modest requirements can start with SigmaNEST Lite and grow to the most powerful offering while protecting their initial investment.

SigmaNEST has a large number of add-on modules to optimize it to your particular requirements. These modules:

• add ever more sophisticated functionality, such as advanced true shape nesting, remnants, scheduling and inventory management
• provide integration technologies ranging from foreign file format handling, through integration with solid modelling products to full automation and integration with MRP systems.

SigmaNEST's modules are also arranged in solution packages of the most commonly used configurations.

SigmaNEST Packages

The SigmaNEST packages are conveniently pre-configured combinations of modules. They fall into two groups. The first forms a logical progression of functionality�up to the the most powerful:

• AutoNest
• True Shape
• Remnant
• Maximizer
• Power Pack

The second group caters to specific functional needs and do not form a linear progression of capability:

• Techno
• Punch
• Punch Power Pack

Each of these packages may be further customized with the addition of extra modules, interfaces and convertors.

Interfaces & Converters

SigmaNEST has a wide range of interfaces and converters. These fall into 3 categories:

• MRP interfaces provide interaction between SigmaNEST and common MRP or custom IS systems.
• CAD interfaces integrate SigmaNEST tightly with common CAD systems.
• File converters convert common file formats to SigmaNEST files.

Specialty Products

These are separate products that supplement SigmaNEST's functionality. They differ from the add-on modules in that these do NOT require that SigmaNEST be present in order to operate. The add-on modules, by contrast, always require that the core SigmaNEST product is present.

Develop

Develop is a blowpipe development program for unfolding welded fittings, transitions and pipe intersections.

Rotary

Rotary makes cutting cylindrical and rectangular tube cutting as simple as cutting flat profiles from a sheet.

Load / Unload

Load / Unload combines multiple CNC programs into one - with user-definable "glue" codes to link them.

Cut-to-Length

Cut-to-Length is a general purpose, cut to length nesting and orders and raw material management system for steel stockholders, distributors and warehouses.

ShopCOMM II

ShopCOMM II is a Direct Numerical Control (DNC) package for transferring CNC programs from a computer to a cutting machine controller.

ScanLine

ScanLine is a powerful raster to vector package for converting scanned diagrams to SigmaNEST geometry.
